The registration site for non-PRC participants is now open.
Participants can register for the main conference (with tutorials and workshops) and/or the satellite symposium at http://www.rcl.cityu.edu.hk/ijcnlp04/registration.htm.
Accommodation can also be booked simultaneously.
PRC participants should register via the local organising committee (please refer to http://www.cipsc.org.cn/IJCNLP-04/). Enquiries on registration can be directed to

[3] Cancellation of Workshop on Summarization
The Workshop on "Multilingual Summarization and Question Answering -Towards Systematizing and Automatic Evaluation" (W2) has to be cancelled unfortunately, due to technical and operational reasons. Participants who have registered for the workshop are welcome to transfer the registration to another workshop instead. Please contact
ijcnlp04.enquiry@cityu.edu.hk to indicate your choice by 29 February 2004.


[4] Visa Application
Conference participants are reminded to make sure that they obtain the necessary visa to enter China in good time. Visa information is available at http://www.rcl.cityu.edu.hk/ijcnlp04/travel.htm. Those who require a letter from China for the application of visa, please kindly send an email to yangke@admin.iscas.ac.cn of the local
organising committee, giving them your name, affiliation, profession, nationality, passport number, fax number, and corresponding address. They will prepare the necessary document
for you.


[5] Conference Program
The preliminary conference program is posted at http://www.rcl.cityu.edu.hk/ijcnlp04/prelimprogram.htm. A pdf version is also available for download. Each oral paper will have a 25-minute slot (about 20 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A). LCD projectors and PCs will be available for presentation. Each poster paper will have a board (dimensions TBC) to display the presentation materials.


[6] Airport Pickup Service
Transportation can be arranged between the airport and the conference hotel. A return trip (airport hotel airport) costs RMB 60. (For information, a normal one-way trip by taxi costs about RMB 120.) Registered participants are asked to send their flight details to
yangke@admin.iscas.ac.cn of the local organising committee as soon as possible, should they require the service.


[7] Social Programs
A welcome reception will be held at the conference hotel (Resort Golden Palm) in the evening of 21 March 2004. The conference banquet will take place on 22 March 2004. An optional half-day excursion is included in the conference package in the afternoon of 23 March 2004.
Information on other tour options will be provided at the registration desk. Please check out the details and sign up at the registration desk when you arrive at the conference site.
