The reception will be held on the 10th floor of the Kimmel Center on Sunday, June 4 ( 18:30-21:30 ). The address of the Kimmel Center is 60 Washington Square South , New York , NY 10012 . It is conveniently located at the center of the city, at the south end of Washington Square Park. You can reach it from the following subway stations: West 4th street (A, C, E, B, D, F, V), 8th street New York University (N, R) or Astor Place (4). From the conference venue, take the A, C or F train to go to West 4th street.

The building is located at the south end of 5th avenue. You can see a magnificent view of 5th avenue from the top of the building. The evening view of the skyline includes the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building and many downtown buildings.

After the reception, you have a variety of nightspots within walking distance. The Village holds a number of Jazz Clubs, including the famous Blue Note, Village Vanguard, and others. (Note that you should buy tickets in advance. Show times vary, but typically sets start at 8pm and 10:30pm). Also NOHO and the union square area have a lot of famous off-Broadway shows, including Blue Man, Stomp and The Snow Show (the typical starting time is 8pm on Sundays). Numerous good restaurants are located in the Village, SOHO, NOHO, the East Village and the Union Square areas, with cuisines from all over the world (see more detail, around NYC ).

The banquet will be held aboard the Spirit Dinner Cruise on Tuesday, June 6. There will be a bus service from the conference venue, leaving at 18:00 in front of the hotel. You can get to the Chelsea Pier (north end) by yourself, but should be there before 19:00. From the Spirit Cruise brochure:

As always, delightful cocktails and fine wines are available at your table or in our downstairs cocktail lounge.
