The NAACL Executive is pleased to announce that we can make available limited funds to support students who will be presenting their work at NAACL HLT 2010 in Los Angeles. Support is only available to full-time students who are (co-)authors of a paper at the main conference, and who are not able to get travel support from their advisor or university. Preference will be given to students who are the first author of papers, who are citizens of or are resident in the Americas, and who have applied to be a student volunteer at the conference.

Applications for support must include a letter from your advisor stating that other funding is not available to support your conference attendance, and an itemized estimate of how much support you need. Applications can be sent to Chris Callison-Burch <ccb@cs.jhu.edu>.

Deadline for submitting applications is Monday, April 5th.
