Call for Workshop Proposals

 

Call-for-Workshop-Proposals 

The 2nd International Joint Conference on Natural Language Processing (IJCNLP-05) invites proposals for workshops to be held in conjunction with IJCNLP-05 at Jeju Island, Korea.  We welcome proposals on any topic of interest to the NLP community.
The workshops will be held on October 14 and 15, 2005 at the IJCNLP-5 conference venue.
The workshop papers are planned to be in a two column format (different from the main conference papers), and the workshop proceedings will be printed by the organizing committee.

Submission Details

Proposals for workshops should contain:

- A title and brief description (max 300 words) of the workshop topic.
- A budget proposal (workshops are expected to be self-financing).
- A description of target audience and expected number of participants.
- The intended length of the workshop (half a day to two days).
- A list of individuals who have agreed to be part of the workshop program committee if the workshop proposal is accepted.
- Full postal address, phone/fax numbers, e-mail of the workshop contact person.
- Any request to the organizers (special facilities, fee handling, etc)

Submission deadline for workshop proposals: February 26, 2005
Notification of acceptance workshop proposal : March 10, 2005
Workshop Dates : October 14-15, 2005
