The venue and the suggested accommodation lie in the heart of a bustling European capital. There are numerous restaurants and cafés along the pedestrian Vitosha street and the surrounding streets, so feel free to explore!
Smoking is not allowed anywhere indoors and most establishments have patios which will be the preferred seating in August.
Many restaurants accept credit cards but it is always a good idea to ask first. There will be plenty of opportunities to go out within walking distance and a regulated taxi fare is around 0.5 EUR per km, so getting around is affordable.
And should you find it difficult to pronounce the Bulgarian word for "thank you", just smile and say it in French! A "merci" is just as good!
